Membership Plans
The Bridal Journal offers three vendor membership tiers — Starter, Professional, and The Journal Society. The following refund terms apply to all membership plans.
If you wish to cancel your membership and request a refund, you must do so within 7 business days of your new membership start date or within 7 business days of your most recent subscription renewal charge. Refund requests made after 7 business days will not be processed.
If you have been a member for more than 7 business days, you may cancel your next recurring charge at any time but we will not issue a refund for the current membership period. You will retain full access to your membership features until the end of that billing cycle.
All membership subscriptions — whether billed monthly or annually — are based on the annual membership period agreed to at sign up.
Upon cancellation you will lose access to all membership features and benefits associated with your plan. This includes your vendor profile listing, the TBJ Approved star badge, push notification permissions, promo code access, and for Journal Society members, all exclusive Journal Society benefits and designation.
The Journal Society
The Journal Society is The Bridal Journal's top tier membership program. Membership in The Journal Society is non transferable and is granted to the individual vendor business that applied. Journal Society membership and its associated designation, badge, and benefits cannot be transferred to another vendor, business, or individual under any circumstances.
Events
The Bridal Journal hosts event listings on our platform as a directory service. Tickets and registrations are managed directly by the event organiser through their own ticketing platform. All ticket purchases, refunds, and exchanges are subject to the event organiser's own refund policy. The Bridal Journal is not responsible for ticket transactions, cancellations, or refunds for any event listed on our platform. If you have a question about a specific event please contact the event organiser directly.
Sponsored Content and Ad Placements
All sponsored editorial features and advertising placements are non refundable once the content has been published or the placement has gone live.
Non Transferability
All memberships and membership benefits across all tiers are non transferable. Features and access are available to the membership holder only and cannot be shared or transferred to another vendor or business.
No Guarantee of Results
While we are committed to providing a high quality platform and connecting vendors with engaged Canadian brides, we cannot guarantee specific results, enquiries, or bookings. Refunds will not be issued on the basis of perceived effectiveness or results.
Misuse and Violation of Terms
The Bridal Journal reserves the right to terminate or suspend a membership at any tier for any violation of our Terms of Service or misuse of the platform. No refund will be issued in these circumstances. Journal Society members found to be in violation of our terms will have their designation permanently revoked with no right of reinstatement or refund.
Refund Processing Time
Please allow 5 to 10 business days for approved refunds to be processed and reflected in your account.
Modifications to This Policy
We reserve the right to update this refund policy at any time. Any changes will be communicated to members via email or posted on our website with an updated effective date.
Special Circumstances
We understand that exceptional situations arise. If you believe your circumstances warrant consideration outside of this policy please contact us and we will review your request. We reserve the right to decline any special case request that exceeds or contradicts the terms of this policy.
